Who We Are: Built From the Ground Up
Signitects is a female-owned and operated company born from real, hands-on experience in the sign world. Over twenty years ago, our founder was a single mom with a baby at home, creating T-shirt designs to keep the lights on and the dream alive. That love for visual communication led her into an “accidental” accounting role at a sign company—where she quickly realized her skills went far beyond numbers on a spreadsheet.
Inside that shop, she learned the entire lifecycle of signage: from creative and production to installation and invoicing. She moved into project management and design, living in the middle of architects, GCs, and fabricators—and saw the same problem on almost every job: not enough information. Design firms weren’t detailing signs deeply enough, large GC teams were left guessing, and fabricators were forced to fill in the gaps on the fly.
Signitects was created to fix that. We put a spotlight on detailed drawing packages and act as a translator between both sides of the table—design and fabrication—so projects run smoother, faster, and with far fewer surprises. Today, we carry that original vision forward with a proven track record of successful projects and long-term relationships across the national sign industry, giving every client the benefit of hard-won experience and obsessively clear documentation.
Over time, that mission has grown into a team that lives and breathes signage. We’re designers, project managers, and detail-obsessed problem solvers who understand real deadlines, tight budgets, and the pressure of getting it right the first time. Whether we’re supporting a local renovation or a multi-site national rollout, our goal is the same: give every stakeholder the clarity they need, treat every project like it’s our own, and build relationships that last long after the final sign is installed.
